Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder - Winona Lauro Horowitz - was born in Winona Minnesota. Parents of Winona Ryder gave her the name of her hometown. Michel Horowitz' father was an author and editor and editor, as was Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder is a self-described Jewish, is descended from Ryder's Jewish father. Ryder has also a half-sister named Sunyata Jubal. Her younger sister is Uria. Ryder along with her whole family moved to Mendocino County in California, when Ryder was just seven. The family resided in an area without electric power. Ryder would read extensively because of the lack of television. Ryder aged 12 enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in the year 1983. Lucas was dismissed in the year 1986, and Ryder who was just 15 years old, was offered the role of a leading actor. Ryder experienced bullying at high school. Ryder believed that her future as an actor would be able to help. However, it didn't happen. But she continued to chase her dreams. Beetlejuice which was a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first major break. Ryder continued playing roles that were successful in several movies. Ryder was nominated twice for Academy Awards one for her performance in The Age of Innocence (1993).
